A few months ago, our very dear friend, Marcel traveled to Paris from Minnesota for work and started what would become the greatest treasure hunt of our kids’ young lives! Back in May, he hid euros (enough for a few scoops of ice cream) in the restroom of his namesake restaurant (seen below) and sent us a video to begin the hunt.
This morning we ventured there with excitement and anticipation. . . He placed the euros in a basket in the restroom so we quickly ordered our delicious brunch and could hardly wait to use the toilet.
Unfortunately we had no luck as the basket had been replaced with a bag and the euros were nowhere to be found 😦
Fortunately and happily for us it was an adventure that we were so excited to take together. To video the experience and share it back with him and his family! We loved our brunch and thinking about him being in the very same place just a few short months ago!

I loved the video! Too bad the cash was gone. I guess I should have found a better hiding place for it. I’m sure the kids got their ice cream anyway.
